To the Kelley Family, I've know Tom for years and have worked very closely with him for the past year. Tom was a great guy to work with. Such a positive, optimistic and absolutely hillarious person to be around. Truly one of the good guys. I will miss him. He taught me a lot and I valued both his knowledge and his friendship.
Tom, I know I'll see you again my friend. Until then though, know that you will be missed. Barb

To the Kelley Family: Words cannot express how truly sorry we are for your loss. We all feel like he was a part of our family, and it just kind of feels like the wind has gone out of our sails. Tom's personality, character(and he was that!), and knowledge were all something we all admired him for. He was truly our "savior" on more than one occasion! The emptiness in your hearts will hurt for awhile.....and eventually, the hurt will lessen as the memories bring a smile to your face and in your heart. Rest in peace, Tom............Pemberville 211,213,216

To Tom's Family, I spoke with Tom several times the last few days and as recently as Thursday evening. He was always upbeat and positive and determined that this could be beaten. He always had a smile on his face and accepted whatever challenge was thrown his way. We talked many times about lifes challenges and how you just have to hang in there. I never once heard him question why this happened to him only how it was a challenge he had to face head on. He was a great friend and I will miss him. I am still in shock as I know you are as how fast this all happened. If there is anything you need please let us know. He was like family and as such we will help in any way you need. May God watch over you and guide you thru this difficult time. To my friend Tom, goodbye and God speed on your journey home. I miss you.

To Tom’s Family –
Tom will be deeply missed! I’ve worked at Tire Centers a little over a year and a half and there was never a day I didn’t see Tom without a smile! He was always positive and just fun to be around. While we are all shocked at how quickly this happened, we rejoice that he is with the Lord. WOW! We can only imagine!!! Therefore, we do not lose heart. Though outwardly we are wasting away, yet inwardly we are being renewed day by day. For our light and momentary troubles are achieving for us an eternal glory that far outweighs them all. So we fix our eyes not on what is seen, but on what is unseen. For what is seen is temporary, but what is unseen is eternal. (2 Corinthians 4 16-18) Please know you are in our prayers. If there is anything we can do, please don't hesitate to call on us. -Shelley Carter

To Toms Family: There are no words for this day, only tears & shock. Please know that we will Lift Your Name High as only Our Lord can possibly comfort you at this time. I am so sorry for your loss & the pain you must be feeling. Lean on God & let Him carry you for He is our Rock.
MAY GOD BE WITH YOU ALL.

Tom, I which I could have the words to express the grattitude I have for all that you have done for all of us, in particular for me... I can not come with an exact count of how many times I have told you that you are our "savior" when it comes to fix anything related to our computer system here at TCI, and to be more specific at TCI 611, retread plant, here in San Antonio, Tx.
Tom, you are keyman at TCI, for all the knowledge that you have, and besides all that for the big heart that you have, bigger than the state of Texas, and all your kindness...
Tom, we do really need you, and not only that...We do really miss you... get well soon, we all here are praying for you...Tom, promise me that the very next call that I will receive here at
210-225-0953, is going to be yours! it's a deal... OK? ROGER

To the Kelley Family & To Whom Reads this...
The past couple of months I have seen a complete change in Tom's life when though he had burdens in his life, his face never showed it. God was renewing Toms life & it showed everyday. God has a plan for all of us in this life but it's our choice to let Him show us the way. God started moving though Tom in church & outside touching peoples lifes. I know Tom was ready to go home where there's no more suffering or pain. God will never give us more than we can endure. He will be dearly missed... One day we'll see him again. This is the time to ask yourself are you ready for that day, if not the time is now to find out who our Savior is.... Ecclesiastes 12:7 Then shall the dust return to the earth as it was: and the spirit shall return unto God who gave it. Our prayers & thoughts are with the Kelley family.
Psalm 18:2 The Lord is my rock, my fortress and my deliverer; my God is my rock, in whom I take refuge. He is my shield and the horn of my salvation, my stronghold.

To Tom's family and friends: I am very sorry for your loss. You will be in my prayers and I wish you peace in your hearts. Tom: Thanks for your optimism and showing everybody the value of life. Sometimes we tend to forget how good we have it… thank you for your kindness and for your wonderful spirit! You’ve left a mark forever in our hearts. Rest in peace and may God bless you and your loved ones always.

What to say about Tom Kelley...what a dear, fun, genuine friend. I met Tom at Mt. Zion Christian Fellowship. The first Sunday I met him, he invited all the singles to his apartment for the afternoon; he had a packed apartment, and was the quintessential host. We did not leave until dark!
If you wanted to have fun, you hung out with Tom. He volunteered to help me and my daughter with her homework assignment by constructing a teepee for a diorama...she got an 'A'. The Friday night my husband and I married, he was traveling out of town. He told us he would be at our wedding, and wouldn't miss it. He was flying in and driving himself from the airport, and didn't have time to stop and change clothes; he made it to our reception that night just in time for the cake-cutting, and everything stopped when they saw Tom walking to the courtyard and we screamed "Tom!!" in unison; I have a picture that captured that moment, and it will always be a special, happy memory for us. He told us that he had dressed into his suit driving down I-85 to our reception...that is a true friend. He flew to Indianapolis with us for my brother's engagement party - just to surprise him; that is a true friend. We went trick-or-treating one year with another friend of ours - all of us single, along with our children, we went door-to-door, and of course, Tom dressed up as an Indian. I remember him showing us his dog collection after he moved into his house, telling us how/where each one came from. But mostly, I remember spending time laughing...lots of laughing. We will miss our friend Tom.

Well, Tom...yours was the only friendly face I saw climbing on the private jet to Akron my first day at TCI six years ago, and every time I've seen you since then, you've kept the smile. What a testament to your attitude!! No one can have THAT many good days, but you've got a light shining from within that makes it impossible for anyone around you to be frowning...except maybe Richard. Please know that you are thought about more often and by more people than you can possibly know. I'm already thinking about the next Christmas party and I'd very much like to request the honor of you saving a dance for me, Tom. Remember....if you're ever in need of a chubbie (Chocolate, that is!!) please give me a call. I know you're smiling now, my friend....call me if there is anything I can do. With much fondness, Nancy M.

You were one of the first smiling faces I encountered when I started working here, and that hasn't changed yet. You are a phenomenal person & so inspiring to me & so many others to be always positive, caring, and sincere. You've blessed so many lives. God truly does work in mysterious ways, and He tests us & our faith. I have no doubt that you will be able to beat this, as you have so many people standing behind you and praying for you through this. In continued prayer, may you have a speedy recovery! - All my best, Amy Wood

Tom, We've always joked in IT that we have EASY buttons, magic wands, etc. to fix all the problems. I wish there was one I could give you that would fix this one. We have always said we are one big dysfunctional family in IT and you've got to know that we are all praying for you and are here to support you thru this because you are family. A day hasn't gone by since this started that I haven't wondered what we can do or how you are. Keep the faith, keep your spirits up and fight the most important battle of your life. "Our" family needs you to stay strong and beat this thing. No matter what you need we are here for you(even if you do owe $2). Crista

Hey brother, I could tell that you weren't your normal self, but what is normal for you? You have always lived life on the edge and always up for the next adventure. I am really praying for you, your situation, your children, and your family. If I know you, you were looking for your next challenge. I know this isn't anything what you expected or want, and I wouldn't wish it on anyone. I've sat near your shoes, but never in your shoes. Whatever you need, whatever I can provide, I'll do. You are such an integral part of the TCI family, and as family we will support you. Everyone at TCI Hudson 805 has you on their mind and in their prayers. You do so much for the business and for the company that you probably don't realize. If I haven't said it before or even recently, thank you. If you do need to ever get away, and it is possible for you to do so, you have an open invitation to Colorado, and I'd buy the ticket to get you here. Your brother from another mother, Gary Youtsey.

Tom I have not had the pleasure of working with you yet, but after reading your message and some of the messages sent to you I immediatly felt a connection to you. Since I started with this company in December I have felt an overwelming sence of family with-in this organization. That is really cool. I have never gone through what you are going through now, but I did with my wife a few years ago. The attitude you are displaying is priceless. It speaks very well of you and the people around you. I am a firm believer that God will help you, and your family through this. My family, my church and I are praying for you every day, and believing God for a FULL recovery and give you strenght to move forward. Kevin M. Lowe (DC Manager Charlotte)
